About Katie
Katie is a trained Level IV Seimei practitioner. Training took place in America and Japan. She received her Awarding of Power Ceremony at the Houjyushu Houjyukai Temple at the Seimei headquarters in Saga, Japan. She is a member of the Board of Directors and is the Event Coordinator of the Seimei Foundation USA. She frequently gives Seimei demonstrations and workshops. She is continuing her Seimei education with the Foundation. Katie Fasciano has a private practice with Seimei. She works with clients in person and long distance. She also provides workshops for organizations and corporations.
The mother of three girls, Katie and her family went through a six-year cancer journey with her eldest daughter, Elizabeth, who became her angel on March 10, 2013. In honor of Elizabeth, Katie changed her career to being a Seimei practitioner from years working as an accountant. She also teaches financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship skills to inner city youth for Junior Achievement USA. She frequently serves as a volunteer for many child and adult cancer organizations.
